Amazing Spider-verse

  • The Amazing Spider-man
    • Spider-man 3 sucked, so Sony decided to go back to the well and try again. From scratch. We take a dive into Sony's first attempt at rebooting the Spider-man film franchise, this time in a quote/unqote Amazing way.
  • The Amazing Spider-man 2
    • After the reasonable success of Sony's Spider-reboot, the studio went all-in on Spidey once more, attempting with this film to start up a whole Spider-franchise. Instead, they created one of the worst films in the whole Spider-verse.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

  • Captain America: Civil War (MCU 13)
    • It's Cap v Iron Man is the superhero battle of the century. We take a look at the film to see how it all shakes out when friend fights friend. Will the Avengers be able to stand against internal strife?
  • Spider-man: Homecoming (MCU 16)
    • With a new reboot of Spider-man out, we review the third iteration of the web-head in 16 years. Is he more hero than insect? Let's find out.
  • Avengers: Infinity War (MCU 19)
    • Marvel's back at it again, smashing their superheroes up against a powerful villain looking to eradicate life across the universe. Can the Avengers stop this new threat, and will the film be any good? We review it and see.

    • And this is it, the end of an era as everything from the last eleven years comes together in a gigantic, series-crossing, three-hour epic. You've made it this far so we have no doubt you're in for this movie as well.
  • Spider-man: Far From Home (MCU 23)
    • Following the rousing success of the Spider-reboot, and two big Avengers movies, Sony and Marvel return to the web-head with a second, Tom Holland-starring solo adventure. Sadly, lightning just couldn't strike twice as this film is decent but not great.
  • What If...? (MCU 28)
    • We explore the multiverse from the perspective of various alternate character as we ponder the question... "What If...?"
  • Spider-man: No Way Home (MCU 32)
    • Peter's identity is revealed so, with the help of Doctor Strange, he tries to use magic to fix it, which only causes a multiverse of problems instead.

Spider-verse

  • Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse
    • Even though Sony has a totally awesome Spider-man on the Silver Screen courtesy of Marvel, Sony still wants to try and get a "Spider-Verse" connected universe of their very own. Thus we have the first animated, big screen film, and it just so happens to star Miles Morales. Let's take a look.
  • Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse
    • Miles is back, battling an inter-dimensional foe who could spell the end of the whole spider-verse, and it'll take even more Spider-people to save the day.
  • The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story
    • This short took the release spot from the delayed third film in the series, and it gets to the heart of Miles as a character.

Sony's Spider-Man Universe

  • Venom
    • We take a look at Sony's attempt as a "Spider-verse without Spider-man" in this vaguely related film about Spidey's most famous nemesis.
  • Venom: Let There Be Carnage
    • Venom is back, battling against a new symbiote (fan-favorite Carnage) in this sequel that doesn't really have anything new to say about, well, anything.
  • Morbius
    • Morbius, the Living Vampire, is unleashed on an unsuspecting New York and, man, the city is never going to be able to stay awake to cringe back in fear.
  • Madame Web
    • The seer from a number of Spidey tales gets her own movie which... frankly doesn't work at all.
  • Kraven the Hunter
    • A kid raised to be a hunter fails to gain his father's approval, but ends up gaining the powers of animals to fight the kinds of hunters his daddy always wanted him to be.

Video Games

  • Spider-man (1982)
    • The earliest attempt at bringing Spider-man to home consoles came from Parker Brothers but it's a really annoying game to play.
  • Questprobe: Featuring Spider-man
    • A text adventure with visual elements, this game purported to put you in the shoes of Spider-man, but all it really did was bored players.
  • The Amazing Spider-Man and Captain America in Dr. Doom's Revenge!
    • One of the worst games ever made, this title tries to be a rip-roaring fighting adventure for Spidey and Captain America but fails on every level.
  • The Amazing Spider-Man (1990 PC Game)
    • Mysterio kidnaps Mary Jane and Spider-man is stuck venturing into his castle filled with switches, switches, and more switches in this tedious adventure.
  • The Amazing Spider-Man (1990 Game Boy Game)
    • 1990 saw two unrelated Amazing Spider-man, and this one comes from Rare on the Game Boy... but that doesn't make for a better game.
  • Spider-man vs. the Kingpin
    • Spider-man has to battle his greatest foes, and also mediocre game play, in this average action platforming experience.
  • The Punisher: The Ultimate Payback!
    • The Punisher takes to the streets, killing bad guys (with, oddly, a little help from Spider-man) in this on-rails shooter.
  • Spider-man: The Video Game
    • Spider-man teams up with Black Cat, Namor, and Hawkeye, to take on the Sinister Six and Doctor Doom in this brawling adventure.
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (1992 Game Boy Game)
    • Spider-man returned to the Game Boy for a second utterly underwhelming adventure that surely annoyed anyone who purchased it.
  • Spider-man: Return of the Sinister Six
    • Bits comes at us with a second Spidey game, this time on the NES, and it's not really any better than their previous effort.
  • Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge
    • Spider-man witnesses the kidnapping of the X-Men and has to go to their rescue in this rather bland platforming adventure.
  • The Amazing Spider-man 3: Invasion of the Spider-Slayers
    • Bits gets another crack at a Spider-man Game Boy adventure and it may just be the worst game from them yet.
  • Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage
    • Spider-man and Venom have to team up, with assists from other Marvel heroes, to take on their greatest foe, Carnage, in this decent street brawler.
  • Spider-man (1994)
    • Acclaim gives us one of their last attempts at sucking money out of kids, once again with a boring title no one should play
  • Venom/Spider-man: Separation Anxiety
    • Spider-man and Venom are back, fighting together again against a set of new symbiotes out to kill them both.
  • The Amazing Spider-man: Web of Fire
    • Sega's last attempt at a Spider-man game results in a massive underwhelming 32X tech-demo.
  • Spider-man: The Sinister Six
    • Peter Parker (and his alter ego, Spider-man) goes off on an adventure but fails to bring us along for the ride.
  • Spider-man (2000 PSX Game)
    • Activision brings us a 3D Spidey adventure that actually comes close to nailing the superhero in all his glory.
  • Spider-man (2000 GBC Game)
    • This "port" has little to do with the PSX adventure, instead making a scaled down, untlra-hard game in its place.
